Limestone Women’s Golf to Start the Season in National Top-10

WGCA Division II Preseason Coaches Poll

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Coming off the best season in program history, the Limestone College women's golf team will start with its highest ever preseason national ranking as they check in at No. 10 in the Women's Golf Coaches Association Division II Preseason Coaches Poll.

The Saints picked up the 2019 Conference Carolinas Championship before finishing as the runner up in the NCAA South Super Regional this past spring. The Blue and Gold placed sixth overall at the NCAA Division II Championships in stroke play, making the cut to match play in the national quarterfinals.

Barry edged Dallas Baptist for the top spot in the preseason rankings by just six points as both pulled in four first-place votes. California State San Marcos collected three first-place votes to check in at No. 3 while Indianapolis and Lynn both round out the national top-5, respectively.

The Saints will start the season on Monday, Sept. 9, and Tuesday, Sept. 10, when they travel to compete in the UIndy Invitational hosted by No. 4 University of Indianapolis.
