With weekend conference championships complete, Conference Carolinas men's and women's soccer teams await their NCAA championship fate as qualifying teams, pairings, and game locales will be announced Monday by the NCAA.

On the men's side Coker and Lees-McRae have the best shot at at advancing to NCAA tournament play. Coker  is currently ranked No. 1 in the NCAA Southeast Region poll, while Lees-McCrae is No. 6. Limestone College also has an outside chance to make the dance by losing to eventual conference champion Coker in the tournament semifinals last week, as they were also recently ranked No. 9 in the regional poll.  There is not an automatic conference qualifier for men's soccer.

For the women, Lees-McRae secured the confernence automatic qualifier taking the league's championship.  The Bobcats took a 4-2 penalty kick shootout result over Belmont Abbey in Saturday's championship match.

It is now a wait and see game for when and where teams will play in the NCAA regional tournament.  The top six teams advance to the tournament in the Southeast Region for both the men & women.  The men's regionals will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 9 with the opening round. The top two seeds will receive a bye until the first round starting Friday, Nov. 11.  For the women, first and second round play is November 11th & 13th.
