Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Regular Season Championship Claimed; Upcoming Conference Tournament Match-Ups Finalized
Conference Carolinas women's volleyball teams wrapped-up regular season play tonight and clinched conference regular season titles. Final tournament pairings came down to tonight's final regular season games where Belmont Abbey and King will share the regular season title. Both teams had the exact same conference records splitting regular season matches during the season.  Both teams were exactly the same in all official league tiebreaking scenario steps, thus tournament pairings came down to a random league selection.  While both teams will share the regular season championship, Belmont Abbey will be the No. 1 seed with King assuming the No. 2 seed for the tournament.

Also with the conclusion of regular season play today, complete final pairings for next weeks upcoming conference tournament have been determined with the top eight teams advancing into tournament play. A four-way tie for the third through six place seeds was broken by league seedings rules from regular season results (see details below).  The women's volleyall teams will kick-off quarterfinal action next Saturday with teams playing at the highest remaining seeded host throughout the tournament. The Conference Tournament Champion receives an automatic bid into DII NCAA regional play.

Initial first round match-ups are included below but click here to go to the 'Women's Volleyball Conference Championship' website link for complete details throughout next weeks tournament.
