play Monday followed by the women tipping-off Tuesday. Conference
regular season league play comes to an end this weekend with
crucial games remaining to determine pairings and final match-ups
for next week’s tournament.
The championship culmination next week not only puts the

women's basketball conference tournaments. The women boast the
second oldest conference tournament within all of NCAA Division II.
The women's league tournament started in 1975 and is in its 37th
year which is just one year younger than the Central
Intercollegiate Athletic Association tournament which started in
1974.
The men's Conference Carolinas tournament will be celebrating
their 72nd anniversary this year with its birth date in
1941. The men's tournament is the third oldest in all of NCAA DII
behind the SIAC (1934) and the WVIAC (1935).
All games this year will be played at the higher seeded team
with a 7:00 PM tip time except for the Sunday women’s
championship game which will start at 2:00 PM. Be sure to
stay up to speed on all the basketball championship details
