Pfeiffer's Regis Named NSCAA Division II Men's College Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, MO. – Pfeiffer junior forward Nathan Regis has been named the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division II Men's College Player of the Week, the association announce Tuesday.

Regis, a junior from Arima, Trinidad and Tobago, propelled the No. 2 Falcons to a 2-0 week behind his six points on three goals. In the team’s 2-0 win over Mount Olive, he would register one goal on three shots on goal. Three days later on Oct. 10, Regis would net two goals on five shots to lead the Falcons to a 5-0 blowout win of Belmont Abbey.

Regis currently ranks first in NCAA Division II with 15 goals and second in points with 34.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan. Emmanuel College and Southern Wesleyan University are currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
