Mount Olive's Henry and Dahlke Named Conference Carolinas Women's and Men's Runners of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Mount Olive’s Bailee Henry and Jonathan Dahlke have been named the Conference Carolinas Women’s and Men’s Cross Country Runners of the Week, respectively, the conference announced today.

A junior from Pico Rivera, Calif., Henry finished 28th overall out of more than 300 runners at the Royal Cross Country Challenge with a 5K time of 19:00.5. Her time was good enough for sixth best out of more than 200 non-DI runners and first among 77 Conference Carolinas runners. Henry's performance propelled the Trojans to a 10th-place finish out of 37 teams.

Dahlke, a native of Cologne, Germany, had an outstanding showing at the Royal Cross Country Challenge, finishing the event 10th overall with a 8K time of 24:38.7. The sophomore's time was fourth out of more than 250 non-DI athletes and second out of 85 Conference Carolinas runners. Dahlke’s finish also rocketed Mount Olive to a 2nd-place team finish, beating the likes of Duke and Wake Forest.

The award marks Dahlke's second runner of the week and Henry's first.
