Limestone's O'Connor Named Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone forward Megan O'Connor has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 12 - Oct. 18, the conference announced today.
A freshman from Mt. Pleasant, S.C., O'Connor scored two goals and dished out an assist to tally five points on the week. Her strong play led the Saints to a 2-0 week with wins over King and Barton. O'Connor got her week started scoring both of Limestone's goals in a 2-1 win at King on Oct. 14. Three days later, she would follow her two-goal performance up with an assist in the Saints' 2-0 win at Barton.
O'Connor currently sits atop the Conference Carolinas statistical standings with six assists, while ranking 10th in points (18) and 12th in goals (6).
