King's Garrett Named Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – King midfielder Kara Garrett has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 19 - Oct. 25, the conference announced today.
Garrett, a redshirt freshman from Abingdon, Va., scored three goals for six points to lead the Tornado to a 1-1 week. After suffering a non-conference loss to Carson-Newman on Oct. 21, the Tornado would notch a 5-4 double-overtime win three days later against Pfeiffer.
