Pfeiffer Remains No. 1 for Fifth Straight Week in NSCAA National Rankings

KANSAS CITY, MO. – The Pfeiffer Falcons remained the No. 1 team in the nation in the final regular season poll of 2015, according to the latest NSCAA Division II Men's Soccer National Poll on Tuesday.

Pfeiffer concluded 2015 with a spotless 20-0-0 record and completed the season sweep of Conference Carolinas regular and tournament titles. The team laid claim to its second straight Conference Carolinas tournament title after going 3-0 last week against Barton (5-0), Mount Olive (3-1) and Limestone (3-0).

The Falcons earned a No. 1 seed and first round bye in the 2015 NCAA Men's Soccer Championship. Pfeiffer will play host to the winner of the Lander vs. Wingate in the second round on Sunday, Nov. 15 at 1 p.m.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College and Southern Wesleyan University are currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
