King's LeVeau Named Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – King University forward Hunter LeVeau has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played from Nov. 16-22, the conference announced today.
A junior from Johnson City, Tenn., LeVeau paced the Tornado to a 2-0 week against regional foes Young Harris and Lander University. In the two victories, LeVeau averaged 17.5 points, four rebounds and 3.5 steals per game.
On Nov. 18 against Lander, LeVeau would post 10 points, grab five rebounds and three steals in the Tornado's 69-64 win. LeVeau would save his best performance of the week for a Nov. 21st showdown with Young Harris. He would register 25 points, including four three-pointers, and add four steals and three rebounds to lead King to an 86-76 victory over the Mountain Lions.
