Four Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Players Named to NSCAA Scholar All-Region Team

NSCAA Scholar All-Region Team Release

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Four Conference Carolinas men's soccer players were recognized as 2015 NCAA Division I and Division II Men's Scholar All-South Region Team selections by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) on Tuesday.

For the first time, the NSCAA combined the NCAA Division I South Region with the NCAA Division II South and Southeast Regions to make one team. A total of nine student-athletes from the Southeast Region picked up honors.

Limestone College led the way with the trio of Lalaina Randriamanantena, Gui Machado and Tom Godfrey receiving recognition and James Abraham of Lees-McRae College rounding out the group.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan. Emmanuel College and Southern Wesleyan University are currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
