Pfeiffer University's Regis Wins NSCAA National Player of the Year

HIGH POINT, N.C. - Pfeiffer University's men's soccer player Nathan Regis was named the 2015 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division II National Player of the Year, the association announced today.

The junior from Arima, Trinidad & Tobago was the catalyst behind Pfeiffer's 25-0-0 campaign and national championship run. Regis led the nation in points (71), goals (32) and goals per game (1.28) on his way to National Player of the Year honors.

 


Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College and Southern Wesleyan University are currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
