Three Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Players Named to AVCA All-Region Team

2015 AVCA All-Region Teams

LEXINGTON, KY. – Three Conference Carolinas women's volleyball players were named to the 2015 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) DII All-Region Teams, the association announced Tuesday.

Leading the was Erskine College's junior setter, Kristen Dodge, who was an All-Southeast Region selection. Also receiving All-Southeast honors was 2015 Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Year and outside hitter for Belmont Abbey Colllege, Hannah Schellenberg. Rounding out the honorees was Kelley Sullivan of Erskine College, who was named an All-Southeast honorable mention.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-Mcrae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College and Southern Wesleyan University are currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
