11 Conference Carolinas Student-Athletes Named to 2015 IWLCA/Zag Sports Academic Honor Roll
GRAND LAKE, COLO. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) and Zag Sports announced their 2015 Academic Honor Roll on Monday morning.
A record 838 student-athletes from 256 different institutions across all three NCAA divisions and NAIA were honored, with 178 student-athletes coming from 48 DII/NAIA institutions.
Conference Carolinas was well-represented on the list with 11 student-athletes from three institutions making the list. Leading the way was Limestone with five honorees, Belmont Abbey with four and Mount Olive with two.
To be named to the IWLCA/Zag Honor Roll, all student-athletes were nominated by their schools and have at least junior academic status and a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or greater.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-Mcrae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan. Emmanuel College and Southern Wesleyan University are currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
