Limestone and Pfeiffer Move Up in Latest NSCAA National Rankings
HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Limestone Saints and Pfeiffer Falcons both made moves in the latest NSCAA Division II Men's Soccer National Poll on Tuesday. The Saints moved up two spots to No. 6 in the rankings, while the Falcons jumped 14 spots to No. 11 in the polls.
Limestone sits at 3-0 on the season after beating Shorter University, 3-1, in its lone game last week.
Pfeiffer (4-0) made a major jump in the polls after going 3-0 last week. The week started with a 4-3 double-overtime win against Flagler College, which was followed up with a 1-0 victory over Chowan University. The week was capped off with a 4-2 win over Coker College.
Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-Mcrae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan. Emmanuel College and Southern Wesleyan University are currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
