Pfeiffer and Limestone Both in Latest NSCAA National Rankings

HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Pfeiffer Falcons and Limestone Saints both made moves in the latest NSCAA Division II Men's Soccer National Poll on Tuesday. The Falcons moved up seven spots to No. 4 in the rankings, while the Saints came in at No. 12 in the polls.

Pfeiffer (6-0) made another jump in the polls after going 2-0 last week. The week started with a 3-1 win against Barton. The highlight of the week was the Falcons' 2-1 upset of then No. 6 Limestone on Sept. 19.

Limestone (4-1) dropped six spots after going 1-1 last week. The Saints picked up a 4-1 win over Emmanuel (Ga.) to start the week, and suffered their first lost of the season to then No. 11 Pfeiffer on Sept. 19.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-Mcrae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan. Emmanuel College and Southern Wesleyan University are currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
