Pfeiffer and Limestone Both in Top 10 of Latest NSCAA National Rankings
HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Pfeiffer Falcons and Limestone Saints both found spots in the top 10 of the latest NSCAA Division II Men's Soccer National Poll on Tuesday. The Falcons moved up one spot to No. 3 in the rankings, while the Saints moved up three spots to No. 9 in the polls.
Pfeiffer (7-0) made the move to No. 3 after going 1-0 last week with a 4-0 win over Lees-McRae.
Limestone (6-1) moved up to No. 9 after going 2-0 last week. The Saints picked up a 5-1 win over Lees-McRae to start the week, and notched a 3-0 win over North Greenville two days later on Sept. 25.
Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan. Emmanuel College and Southern Wesleyan University are currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
