North Greenville's Pierce Named Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – North Greenville outside hitter Kenzie Pierce has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for matches played Sept. 21-27, the conference announced today.
A sophomore from Winston-Salem, N.C., Pierce led the Crusaders to a 4-0 record last week. She knocked home 44 kills, 11 digs and eight aces. In a straight-set victory over Benedict on Sept. 22, Pierce had 10 kills, two digs and an ace against the Tigers. She would tally 13 kills and two aces in a 3-1 win over St. Andrews two days later. In two 3-0 victories over Mount Olive and Barton, Pierce would notch six kills and four aces against the Trojans, while delivering 15 kills, five digs and an ace against the Bulldogs.
Also nominated for Women's Volleyball Player of the Week: Rycki Ebert (Limestone), Sarah Kenney (Belmont Abbey), Kristen Dodge (Erskine) and Lauren Willoughby (King).
