Limestone's Malone and Mount Olive's Dahlke Named Conference Carolinas Women's and Men's Runners of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone’s Allyson Malone and Mount Olive's Jonathan Dahlke have been named the Conference Carolinas Women’s and Men’s Cross Country Runners of the Week, respectively, the conference announced today.

A freshman from Athens, Ohio, Malone paced the Saints to a 10th-place finish out of 20 teams at the Wingate Bulldog Stampede. She came in 17th overall, first among Conference Carolinas runners, after running the 6K event in 23:55.08.

Dahlke, a sophomore from Cologne, Germany, competed in the Wingate Bulldog Stampede 8K and led the Trojans to the team title. He ran a time of 26:11.50, which garnered him a seventh-place overall finish out of 178 runners and first-place finish out of 49 Conference Carolinas runners.
