Limestone's Kearse Named Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College guard Jasmine Kearse has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played from Jan. 18-24, the conference announced today.

The junior from St. Augustine, Fla. continues to dominate Conference Carolinas on a weekly basis, as she has nabbed her fourth Player of the Week after leading the No. 7 Saints to a 97-52 victory over Belmont Abbey College last week.

Kearse poured in a game-high 25 points, with 17 coming in the third quarter, on 9-for-17 shooting from the field and 7-for-15 shooting beyond the arc. She would stuff her stat sheet by adding seven rebounds, four assists and three steals to her game totals.

Kearse averages a league-best 21.7 points per game, while also leading Conference Carolinas in steals (51) and three-point makes (68).
