Pfeiffer's Regis Named NSCAA Division II Men's College Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, MO. – Pfeiffer junior forward Nathan Regis has been named the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division II Men's College Player of the Week, the association announced Tuesday.

Regis, a senior from Arima, Trinidad and Tobago, captured national player of the week honors after leading the then-No. 21 Falcons to a 2-0 week. He posted three goals for six points in wins over Mount Olive and North Greenville.

In Pfeiffer 6-0 win over the Trojans, Regis would score twice and follow the performance with the game-winner in a 1-0 victory over the Crusaders.

Regis leads the Conference in points (24) and game-winning goals (5), while ranking second in goals (10) and eighth in assists (4).

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College is currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
