Mount Olive's Hanle and Craig Named Conference Carolinas Runners of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – University of Mount Olive's Leah Hanle and Adam Craig have been named the Conference Carolinas Women’s and Men’s Cross Country Runners of the Week, respectively, the conference announced today.

Hanle, a freshman from Lichtenstein, Germany continues to dominate the Mount Olive record books, as her first three competitive runs for the Trojans have been three of the top five in program history. Hanle's latest race at the Royals Challenge earned her a second-place finish and the fastest 5K time in the UMO record book. Her time of 17:37.6 garnered her the top Division II time and also beat the old UMO record by 45 seconds. 

A junior from Lauder, Scotland, Craig earned a second-place finish in the Royals Challenge and was the top Division II participant. His time of 23:59.7 was the fastest 8K time in Mount Olive history, beating the old record by over 12 seconds.
