Pfeiffer's Siaj Named Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University forward Jaime Siaj has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 10-16, the Conference announced today.
A junior hailing from Madrid, Spain, Siaj took home his second Player of the Week honor of the season after pacing No. 20 Pfeiffer to a dominant 2-0 record last week. In a pair of 5-0 wins over Barton and King, Siaj would score four markers and add an assist for nine points.
In the victory over Barton, Siaj would take nine shots and score one goal while dishing his lone assist of the week. Against King, Siaj would rocket 12 shots, placing six on goal. Of the six on goal, three would find the back of the net in the second half, giving the striker an impressive hat-trick to cap the week.
Siaj leads the Conference in points (30) and shots (69), while ranking third in goals (11) and assists (8).
