Limestone's O'Connor Named Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College forward Megan O'Connor has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 10-16, the Conference announced today.

O'Connor, a sophomore from Mt. Pleasant, S.C., made a statement last week for the No. 18 Saints. The striker would score five goals for 10 points and kept Limestone undefeated in Conference Carolinas play.

In a 7-0 trouncing of King, O'Connor would post eight points on four goals, with three coming in the first 36 minutes of play. The sophomore would close the week with some heroics, scoring the game-winning goal in the 86th minute of a 2-1 win over Converse.

O'Connor ranks first in Conference Carolinas in points (27), goals (13) and game-winning goals (6).
