Erskine's Dodge Named Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Erskine College setter Kristen Dodge has been named Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for matches played during the week of Oct. 17-23, the Conference announced today.
A senior from Duncan, S.C., Dodge was an all-around threat for the Fleet, leading it to a 2-0 week over Conference Carolinas opponents. She would amass 18 kills and a .385 hitting percentage to go with 72 assists and 24 digs.
In a 3-1 win over North Greenville, Dodge would dish out 46 assists, make eight digs and put away seven kills. However, her best performance of the week was in a 3-0 sweep of south division rival Southern Wesleyan. Dodge would record her second triple-double of the season, hitting .429 with 11 kills, 26 assists and 16 digs.
Dodge ranks second in Conference Carolinas in assists per set (9.96), while ranking third in total assists (757) and fourth in hitting percentage (.325).
