Converse's Doolittle Named Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Converse College midfielder Nicole Doolittle has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Player of the Week for matches played Oct. 24-30, the Conference announced today.
Doolittle, a junior from Orlando, Fla., has notched her second Player of the Week honor after tallying 10 points (5 Gs) and leading the Valkyries to a 2-0 week. Her outstanding week allowed her to break the Converse single-season records for points and goals.
In a 6-4 shootout with Southern Wesleyan, Doolittle would post a hat-trick, while finding the back of the net twice in the team's 3-0 shutout of North Greenville.
Doolittle ranks second in Conference Carolinas in both points (26) and goals (12) and fifth in game-winning goals (3).
