Erskine's Greenough Named Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Erskine College outside hitter Marissa Greenough has been named Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for matches played during the week of Oct. 24-30, the Conference announced today.

Greenough, a senior from Laguna Beach, Calif., propelled the Fleet to a 2-0 week in Conference Carolinas play. She would tally 28 kills, 19 digs and five total blocks to keep Erskine atop of the South Division and second in the conference overall.

Against North Greenville, Greenough would put away 16 kills and dig seven balls to pace the Fleet to a 3-1 win. The following day against Southern Wesleyan, she would notch a double-double with 12 kills and 12 digs to lead Erskine to a 3-0 sweep of the Warriors.

Greenough ranks 14th in Conference Carolinas in kills per set (2.45) and 17th in total kills (201).
