Belmont Abbey's Scruggs Named Conference Carolinas Men's Bimonthly Golfer of the Month
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Belmont Abbey's Jacob Scruggs has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Bimonthly Golfer of the Month for tournaments played the second half of October, the Conference announced today.
A freshman from Shelby, N.C., Scruggs would take medalist honors at the prestigious Matt Dyas Invitational hosted by West Georgia and lead the Crusaders to a first-place team finish. He would shoot a three-round score of 212 (71-70-71).
