Barton College's Marshburn Named to D2CCA All-Region Volleyball Team
SAVANNAH, GA. - Barton College's Hayley Marshburn was Conference Carolinas' lone honoree on the 2016 Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-Southeast Region team, the association announced today.
Marshburn was the 2016 Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Year and a first team all-conference selection. She led Conference Carolinas with 3.87 kills per set and 414 total kills with a .218 hitting percentage. Marshburn would also register 259 digs and 31 total blocks over 30 matches.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College is currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
