Four Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Players Earn D2CCA All-America Honors; Pfeiffer's Regis Repeats as National Player of the Year
HIGH POINT, N.C. - Four Conference Carolinas men's soccer players were named to the 2016 Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-America team, the association announced today.
Headlining the group was Pfeiffer University's Nathan Regis, who was named the Ron Lenz National Player of the Year for the second straight season. In addition to player of the year, Regis was named first team All-America. Teammates Jaime Siaj and Martim Galvao were named second team, while Dani Siaj was named third team.
Regis leads NCAA Division II in points (58) and ranks second in goals (24) after leading the nation in both categories with 32 goals and 71 points on Pfeiffer’s 2015 national championship team. He earns his third career D2CCA All-America honor and second straight on the first team after being named to the third team as a sophomore in 2014.
Jaime Siaj finished the season with 19 goals and 16 assists for 54 points, while Galvao posted 25 points on 15 assists and five goals.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College is currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
