Mount Olive Men and Two Individuals to Represent Conference Carolinas at NCAA Nationals
HIGH POINT, N.C. – One team and two individuals will represent Conference Carolinas at the NCAA Division II Cross Country National Championships. The University of Mount Olive men's team and women's runner Leah Hanle, along with King University men's runner Tanner Cook will compete on November 19th in Saint Leo, Fla.
MEN'S RACE
The No. 15 nationally ranked Trojans won the men's 10K event and advance to the NCAA Division II National Championships for the sixth straight year. The Trojans compiled 57 points to finish 20 points ahead of second-place Mars Hill and 44 points ahead of third-place Queens. Mount Olive will be joined by Mars Hill and Queens at the NCAA Championships.
In addition to its team title, Mount Olive had Adam Craig take the individual Southeast crown with a time of 29:49.03.
Tanner Cook of King University earned a spot in the 2016 NCAA Division II National Championship after posting a 10K time of 30:41.05 to place sixth overall among 169 runners.

WOMEN'S RACE
Mount Olive's freshman sensation Leah Hanle took home the individual Southeast Regional title after posting a time of 21:03.65. Her stellar performance earned her a spot in the field of the 2016 NCAA Division II National Championships.
