HIGH POINT, N.C. – For the second straight year Limestone College defender Millie Shaw netted the game-winner for the Saints and propelled the team to back-to-back Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Championship titles with a 2-1 win over Belmont Abbey College. The Saints move to 18-1-0 overall, while the Crusaders dropped to 16-3-1 on the season.

The win earns the No. 14 Saints the season sweep of the regular season and tourney titles. The win also booked Limestone its second straight trip to the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship as an automatic qualifier.

The Crusaders would take an early 1-0 lead in the 28th minute on a goal from Theresa Sloat. However, Limestone's Holly Rawcliffe would level the match at 1-1 right before halftime with a strike off a free kick in the 40th minute.

In a tightly contested and physical match, the Saints and Crusaders would trade shots early in the second half. Shaw would create the final marker of the contest in the 59th minute. The sophomore would beat her initial defender along the sideline and use timely footwork to evade other defenders before finding the back of the net on a perfectly placed shot.

Limestone will find out its 2016 NCAA Women's Soccer Championship draw on Monday (Nov. 7) night at 6 p.m. on the NCAA Selection Show.
