No. 9 Pfeiffer and Limestone Earn Bids to 2016 NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship
HIGH POINT, N.C. – The No. 9 nationally ranked Falcons of Pfeiffer University and the Saints of Limestone College each earned bids to the 2016 NCAA Men's Soccer Championship, the NCAA announced today. The Falcons (18-2-0) garnered the No. 2 seed in the Southeast, while the Saints (15-3-0) earned the No. 4 seed in region.
Pfeiffer, who has a bye into the second round, will play host to the winner of the first round matchup between No. 3 Tusculum and No. 6 Lenoir-Rhyne on Nov. 12 at 7 p.m. No. 4 seed Limestone will play No. 5 seed Lander in a first round match on Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. The game will be played on the campus of Wingate University in Wingate, N.C., with the winner facing the Bulldogs in the second round on Nov. 13 at 1 p.m.
