Limestone's Dance Named Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College guard Shaq Dance has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Dec. 5-11, the Conference announced today.
Dance, a senior from Garner, N.C., averaged 23 points and 12 rebounds along with five assists and 2.5 blocks to lead Limestone to a 2-0 record last week.
In Limestone's 88-77 win over Coker, Dance would pour in 27 points with 12 boards and two blocks. However, his best performance came in a 94-77 rout of Lees-McRae, where Dance came just an assist short of a triple double, finishing the contest with 19 points, 12 boards and nine dimes to go with three blocks.
Dance ranks second in Conference Carolinas with 20 points per game, while ranking second in total blocks (15) and fourth in rebounds per game (7.6), total assists (32) and total steals (15).
