Limestone's Kearse Named Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C.Limestone College guard Jasmine Kearse has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played Dec. 12-18, the Conference announced today.

Kearse, a senior from St. Augustine, Fla., led the No. 21 Saints to a 1-1 week after averaging 21 points, four assists and 1.5 steals per game.

In an 81-72 loss to Lander, Kearse would pour in 21 points, including five three-pointers, with four rebounds and four assists. Kearse would then lead the Saints to a 53-49 win over Claflin with 21 points, four assists and two steals.

Kearse ranks first in Conference Carolinas with a 169 total points, while her 16.9 points per game ranks third. She also ranks second in total assists (48) and sixth in steals (18).
