Pfeiffer Finishes Season Ranked No. 6 in Final NSCAA National Rankings; Limestone Receives Votes

KANSAS CITY, MO. – Pfeiffer University made the jump to No. 6, while Limestone College received votes, according to the final National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division II Poll.

The Falcons closed out the season with a 19-3-0 record and won both the Conference Carolinas regualr season and tournament titles. Pfeiffer earned a trip to the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship and eventually fell to eventual national champion Wingate in the Elite Eight.

The Saints finished the season 16-4-0 and made an appearance in the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship, losing to Wingate in the second round.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College is currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
