Limestone Ends Season Ranked No. 22 in Final NSCAA National Rankings

KANSAS CITY, MO. – Limestone College finished the season ranked No. 22 in the nation, according to the final National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division II Poll.

The Saints concluded the 2016 season with an 18-2-0 record and captured their first Conference Carolinas regular season title. Limestone notched a trip to the NCAA Women's Soccer Championship after winning its second straight Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Championship title.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College is currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
