Pfeiffer's Lutz Named Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University setter Harrison Lutz has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Volleyball Player of the Week for games played from Feb. 15-21, the conference announced today.

A senior from Lancaster, Pa., Lutz paced the Falcons to a 2-1 week after compiling 141 assists for a 12.82 assists per set average and 15 digs. Lutz would dish out 39 assists for a 13 assists per set average in a 3-0 win over King and added seven digs. He would post 28 digs for a 9.33 average in a loss to Mount Olive, but would bounce back with a historic performance against Emmanuel. Lutz would post a Pfeiffer single-match record 74 assists for a 14.80 average in a 3-2 win over the Lions. He would add eight digs and three blocks to his match totals.

Lutz ranks first in Conference Carolinas in total assists (547) and third in assists per set (11.16).
