King's Good Named Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – King University guard C.J. Good has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played from Feb. 15-21, the conference announced today.
Good, a junior from Johnson, Tenn., averaged 17.7 points and 2.3 steals for the Tornado during its 3-0 week, which concluded with a Conference Carolinas regular season championship.
Good dropped 17 points in a 71-41 win over Belmont Abbey and followed it up with 24 points in a narrow 66-62 win over Pfeiffer. He would cap off his week with 12 points in a 65-60 win over Erskine, which would clinch King the outright Conference Carolinas regular season title.
Good currently leads Conference Carolinas in made three-pointers (106), while rankings fifth in points per game (16.8).
