Limestone's Floyd Named Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College forward Brolin Floyd has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Player of the Week for games played from Feb. 22-28, the conference announced today.
Floyd, a senior from Ocala, Fla., averaged 21 points and four rebounds for the Saints during their 2-0 week, which included a win over regular season Conference Carolinas Champion King University.
In a 76-65 win over North Greenville, Floyd would score 17 points on 7-for-13 shooting and add three rebounds and two assists. In a 64-60 senior night win over King, Floyd would shoot 10-for-16 (3-for-7 3pt) from the field and 2-for-2 from the charity stripe for 25 points. He would add five boards and a steal to his game totals.
Floyd ranks ninth in Conference Carolinas with 6.0 rebounds per game, while ranking 11th with 15.4 points per game.
