Converse's Rouse Named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Converse College's Klaire Rouse was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played the opening week of the season, the conference announced today.

A senior from Gilbert, Ariz., Rouse was the bright spot for the Valkyries posting a 4-0 record on the week. She would get the week started with a 6-1, 6-3 straight-set victory at No. 5 singles and an 8-6 win at No. 3 doubles against Mars Hill. Rouse would then pick up a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 6 singles over Benedict, while delivering an 8-2 win at No. 3 doubles over the Tigers.
