Mount Olive's Di Michele Named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – University of Mount Olive's Stella Di Michele was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from Feb. 22-28, the conference announced today.

Di Michele, a junior from Sanremo, Italy, posted a 2-0 combined record in singles and doubles play to lead the Trojans from a 2-1 deficit to beat Belmont Abbey College 6-3. She would capture a straight-set victory at No. 1 singles with a score of 6-3, 6-1, while taking her No. 1 doubles match with a score of 8-4 with partner Alejandra Hernandez.
