Four Conference Carolinas Student-Athletes Set to Participate in 2016 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Four Conference Carolinas student-athletes in four different events qualified for the 2016 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championship meet.
The championships will be held March 11 and 12 in Pittsburg, Kan. at the Robert W. Plaster Center on the campus of Pittsburg State University. Portions of the championships will be streamed live on NCAA.com and you can keep track of the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships here.
A total of 540 participants, 270 men and 270 women, will compete in the championships. Student-athletes qualified for the championships by reaching the automatic and provisional standards established for each event.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College and Southern Wesleyan University are currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
