Three Conference Carolinas Women's Basketball Players Earn D2CCA All-Region Honors; Limestone's Kearse Tabbed Player of the Year
HIGH POINT, N.C. - Three Conference Carolinas women's basketball players were named to the 2015-16 Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-Southeast Region team, the association announced today. Headlining the group was Limestone College's Jasmine Kearse, who was named the Southeast Region Player of the Year.
Joining Kearse on the all-region team was Limestone teammate Maurissa Lester and University of Mount Olive's Arieal Johnson.
In addition to Region Player of the Year, Kearse was named a first team selection. Lester and Johnson both earned second team honors.
First team selections are now eligible for All-America considerations. Below are the Conference Carolinas selections.
