Limestone's Sisk Named Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Limestone College attack Shannon Sisk has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Mar. 7-13, the conference announced today.
A sophomore from Brooklin, Ontario, Sisk paced the Saints to a 1-1 week after tallying 12 points on four goals and eight assists. In a 16-5 win over Tampa, she would net one goal on one shot, but dish out seven helpers on her way to an eight-point game. In a narrow 9-8 loss to No. 12 Florida Southern Sisk would net a hat-trick and dish out one assist for four points.
Sisk's 20 assists on the year currently ranks first in Conference Carolinas, while her 30 points rank fifth in the league.
