Mount Olive's Bowman Named Conference Carolinas Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – University of Mount Olive goalie Ross Bowman has been named the Conference Carolinas Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week for games played from Mar. 7-13, the conference announced today.

A senior from New Westminster, British Columbia, Bowman's 13-save performance led the No. 16 Trojans to a 10-6 upset of No. 9 Mercyhurst in the team's lone game last week. He would face 18 shots, allowing only five goals for a 72.2 save percentage in 59:47 minutes of action.

Bowman ranks first in Conference Carolinas with a 55.7 save percentage, while rankings second in goals-against average (7.32) and wins (6).

Also nominated for Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week: Mike Messenger (Limestone), Adam Wiedemann (Belmont Abbey) and Ben Austin (Pfeiffer)
