King's Salazar Named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – King University's Alyssa Salazar was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from Mar. 21-27, the conference announced today.

Salazar, a junior from Laredo, Texas, went a combined 3-0 on the week and paced the Tornado to a 1-1 record. Her week would start with a 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles over Converse. Salazar would then conclude the week with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles and 8-3 No. 3 doubles against Lees-McRae

Also nominated for Women's Tennis Player of the Week: Miranda Guthrie (Erskine) and Olivia Nelms (Pfeiffer)
