King Earns No. 2 Seed in 2016 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championship

HIGH POINT, N.C. – The King University Tornado earned a bid to the 2016 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, the NCAA announced last night. The Tornado received the No. 2 seed in the Southeast Region as an automatic qualifier after winning the 2016 Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Championship on Sunday (Mar. 6) afternoon.

King (25-6) will play No. 7 seed Lenoir-Rhyne in the first round on Saturday, Mar. 12 at 2:30 p.m. in Harrogate, Tenn. on the campus of Lincoln Memorial University.
