Pfeiffer's Nelms Named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week
HIGH POINT, N.C. – Pfeiffer University's Olivia Nelms was named Conference Carolinas Women's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played from Apr. 4-10, the conference announced today.
Nelms, a junior from Chesterfield, England, posted a 4-0 comibined record in singles and doubles competition last week, including wins against Division I Presbyterian College. She would win at the No. 1 flight in singles with a score of 6-2, 6-2 against PC, following it up with a 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles. Against Limestone, Nelms would tally a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles and an 8-5 win at No. 2 doubles.
