King's McFadden Named Conference Carolinas Women's Track & Field Athlete of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – King University's Amari McFadden was named the Conference Carolinas Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced today.

A freshman from Richmond, Va., McFadden posted three personal records and three top-20 finishes for the Tornado at the Beynon Sports Catamount Classic. In the 100m dash she would post a time of 12.52 for an 18th-place finish, which she would follow up with a 19th-place finish in the 200m dash with a time of 26.17. She would conclude her weekend with a 13th-place finish in the long jump with a distance of 4.77m.
